“Digital Transformation in a changing Scotland” will take place in Microsoft’s Scottish headquarters in Edinburgh on 24th November 2016.
Delegates who attend the conference will hear from industry experts and organisations who have embarked on their digital transformation journeys to the Cloud, and receive insight into the key drivers, benefits and challenges encountered.
Automated Intelligence will also demonstrate just how much a business can be transformed in a day, setting out to analyse, categorise, and transform an impressive 50 million documents to Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
During the analysis, AI will also identify duplicates and ROT (redundant, obsolete and trivial files). These are files that can be deleted or archived off to cheaper forms of storage to generate hard cost savings for the organisation.
Speakers confirmed include Microsoft Country Manager Steven Grier, Paul Donnelly of NHS Education for Scotland and Fiona Durham from Automated Intelligence, who worked in the Financial Services Industry in Scotland for over 30 years before making the move to AI just two months ago.
Alan Kilpatrick, Head of Sales (Scotland) for AI said of this free, half-day event: “We have had a huge amount of interest in cloud-based solutions for information management, so we knew a conference specifically aimed at the Scottish market would be welcomed by organisations in the private and public sectors alike. We know that most organisations will be moving to the Cloud in the future, if not near future, so it’s about showcasing the possibilities and, of course, opportunities of digital innovation now.”
