Automated Intelligence and Microsoft are hosting a workshop to specifically address how large organisations can leverage Microsoft technologies to deliver an enhanced information strategy. This will enable your business to reduce the cost of managing data whilst increasing the quality, accessibility and control of information within the organisation.

Attendees will discover how this can be performed by leveraging Microsoft Azure and transitioning from legacy systems to an on-premise, online or hybrid Microsoft SharePoint platform.

Jeremy Boss - Experienced CIO and Technology Leader

Jeremy has over 20 years experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and digital leader working at board level. Fusing experience from both private and public sectors he has a strong track record of improving organisational performance through embracing technology and by harnessing the power of information.

Voted in 2014 as a Top 100 CIO. His last CIO role was at the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) where he worked to transform the organisation’s digital and technology services in line with the latest UK Government strategies. He was also a long-serving member of the Cabinet Office’s digital leaders and technology leaders groups championing the transformation of UK public services.

Prior to DECC he had roles at high performing organisations at the Audit Commission (a Public Corporation) and at Imperial Tobacco PLC (global FTSE100 company). Jeremy has just formed his own company to provide insight to organisations on the opportunities from digital services and managing risks in the cyber age – Boss Cyber Limited.

Bruce McKee - Microsoft Financial Services, Industry Development Manager

Bruce McKee has 13 years of experience working with Financial Services clients to build innovative solutions to a range of business problems. Bruce works with the Microsoft partner eco-system and the inherent capabilities of the Microsoft products and solutions to build out client solutions for all areas of financial services. Recent projects include branch modernisation and digital banking solutions within Retail Banking, actuarial modelling and Solvency II solutions for life insurers, digital insurance platforms combining mobile, on-line, back office tools and telematics within General Insurance. Cloud based client reporting solutions within asset management and risk analytics solutions in Capital Markets.

Bruce has written and published a number of whitepapers, is a frequent presenter at events and delivers a bi-weekly webinar update called “Working Lunch”. On the back of these Bruce is often asked to present the Microsoft point of view on all aspects of the Financial Services market, covering the industry domain and technical product capabilities of Microsoft.

Andrew Gough - Azure Transformation Lead, UK Public Sector

Andrew is a new joiner to Microsoft. He is passionate about the ability of cloud based services to bring disruptive benefits, particularly to the Public Sector. He started working with Google Enterprise in 2006 and joins by way of AWS, Skyscape and the software and infrastructure automation company, Chef.
