Job Description

To be responsible for generating and driving all sales and sales activities across key commercial accounts

Main duties include: (but not limited to):
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of the AI product suite and its benefits to businesses and in assigned accounts
  • Responsible for New Business Development within designated remit via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing software solutions/service and product deals
  • Effectively manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
  • Conduct effective sales presentations
  • Provide account management to key clients including maximising future sales opportunities to existing customers and the renewal of annual software licences and/or maintenance, support & update renewals
  • Design and execute effective key account sales strategies, forecasts and plans
  • Contribute to pricing strategies to achieve sales success while maintaining company profitability
  • Appoint, maintain and foster relationships with partners on a project basis
  • Achieve sales targets and company growth objectives
  • Monitor, track and report on sales activity/performance using CRM system
  • Attend key conferences as required
  • Maintain awareness of any competitive activity, marketing strategies and/or pricing strategies
  • Maintain post-market surveillance and advise management of customer feedback on the present product line and possible product improvements and/or changes
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to grow customer base and evaluate marketing activities
  • Travel both locally and internationally as necessary to fulfil the needs of the role
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by Management

Essential Criteria:
  • At least 5 years’ recent experience of C-Level software solution selling
  • A proven track record in managing enterprise accounts up to C-Level management within a designated area
  • Experience in global account management
  • A positive attitude and enthusiastic drive to achieve outstanding results
  • Willingness to perform significant travel as required
  • Strong career stability with a proven track record of success
  • Experience of communicating effectively and appropriately with sales and marketing personnel as well as IT professionals
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to work with small teams
  • Currently hold the right to work in the UK independently

 

Desirable Criteria:
  • Educated to degree level in Business, Management or Sales Management or other relevant subject areas.
  • Experience of selling ECM solutions
