Job Description

The Project Management Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and management of customer engagements. As part of the Customer Success Team, the successful candidate will be experienced, client-facing, and responsible for ensuring delivery of AI software (data management, governance and migration) and services projects are effectively managed, tracked, and completed on time and within budget, and that project objectives are met successfully for our customers.


Main duties include: (but not limited to):

  • Agreeing and defining project objectives
  • Building and maintaining effective customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring that project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget and at agreed acceptable quality levels
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with project teams, senior project stakeholders (internal and external where necessary)
  • Tracking and reporting regularly on project progress
  • Producing and maintaining appropriate project artefacts
  • Identifying, logging and taking appropriate action to address and manage risks and issues
  • Managing and reporting on change requests and deviations in scope
  • Working with sales to co-ordinating customer tender responses
  • Line management of a team of technical consultants, ensuring work is adequately resourced across the entire customer success team
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management


Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in client-facing Project Management role juggling multiple projects (at least 3 years of which must be within a software environment)
  • Experience of people management
  • A formal, relevant qualification in Project/Service Management
  • Willingness to travel and work on customer sites as necessary
  • Must have the right to work independently in the UK


Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in engagements related to data migration and transition
  • Experience in working alongside Microsoft as a partner
  • PRINCE2 qualification
  • Security clearance
