Job Description

To provide strategic leadership to Automated Intelligence’s Sales Team with a clear focus on accelerating sales growth by collaborating with the senior team to set revenue goals and company sales strategy.

Define and execute appropriate sales strategies and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.


Main duties include:

  • Devising and implementing the company’s sales strategy with robust governance to monitor overall performance
  • Setting revenue targets for the company and setting key performance indicators
  • Manage and implement sales forecasting and planning processes establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the Marketing Team
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition to clients up and including C-Level
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring commerciality
  • Ensuring that all members of the Sales Team develop and maintain excellent product knowledge which translates into positive sales performance
  • Working with members of the board on budgeting and planning
  • Provide inspirational leadership and management of the Sales Team with a view to maximising performance
  • Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by the CEO and / or Board.

Essential Criteria

  • At least 3 years’ recent experience of strategic Sales Management within the software sector to include:
    • A proven track record in managing and driving performance of a successful sales team
    • Setting revenue targets and KPIs
    • Sales forecasting, planning and reporting
  • At least 5 years’ recent experience of C-Level software solution selling
  • A proven track record in contract negotiations and strategic problem solving
  • Board-level experience of budgeting and planning
  • Experience of communicating effectively and appropriately with relevant departments
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Currently hold the right to work in the UK independently


Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of selling ECM solutions
  • Experience in global account management
