Automated Intelligence is pleased to announce that we are taking place in Generation Innovation: Reimaging Work Experience. This unique challenge, run by Catalyst Inc., will offer year 13 students the opportunity to work in a team, alongside Northern Ireland’s most exciting and innovation-focused companies.

The world of work is rapidly evolving, job roles are changing and new companies and industries are emerging. This means that it has never been more important to develop new skills and approaches the meet the demand of the workplace.

The Generation Innovation programme, which will take place on June 15th, 18th, 19th and 20th, is designed to help prepare Northern Ireland’s young people to thrive as future leaders. By participating, students will have the opportunity to gain real experience of work, contribute solutions for innovation-focused businesses and gain a greater understanding of career opportunities within the thriving tech-sector.

This three-day programme consists of two challenge solving days, followed by a third solution showcase opportunity. The students will work together to solve real business challenges and then present these solutions to the leader of their assigned company.

Students will gain the opportunity to:

  • Understand the importance of effective team working
  • Understand how design thinking can be used to solve challenges faced by innovation-focused companies
  • Improve their understanding of the importance of feedback
  • Develop and track their personal skill set for 21st Century employment

At Automated Intelligence we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with tomorrow’s leaders. Equipping students with the skills they will need to thrive in the world of work is a rewarding challenge and one that we hope to rise to.

As a company, we have invested so much into our placement students and graduates who become an integral part of the team. We believe work experience should be worthwhile for everyone involved and we want to find people who are like-minded to join the AI family!

This programme has been developed based on the insights of 70 sixth form students, 40 teachers and 200 innovation-focused businesses. We feel certain that it will provide a perfect opportunity for students to experience the excitement, as well as the demands, of working in a fast-paced company at the centre of an emerging industry.
