Automated Intelligence has been selected by a UK Health Trust to migrate its paper-based HR documents to the Cloud.

AI’s technology will deliver a paper-light HR department and extend the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint to meet its information governance requirements.

The Trust identified that searching paper-based records was time-consuming, ineffective and costly. This was becoming a more pressing concern due to the new GDPR.

The organisation required a solution to rationalise and manage paper records to develop a fuller understanding of the information it was holding and to become compliant under the new data privacy regulation.

Therefore, it needed its records to be digitised and searchable within its existing SharePoint platform.

Once the records are scanned, Automated Intelligence will migrate the documents to SharePoint.

AI.SYNCPOINT+ will then provide additional governance and productivity layers to SharePoint to meet the records management needs of the project.

The Trust will also make use of a unique capability provided to Health Trusts by Automated Intelligence to rapidly review multiple records as a single entity.

CEO of Automated Intelligence, Simon Cole said, “Now that GDPR has come into force, the need to adopt a paperless strategy has become even more urgent.

“This project will give the Health Trust the immediate access to the documents it needs and we look forward to working with further health trusts in their drive for paperless operations.” For more information on migrating to the Cloud, contact info@automated-intelligence.com
