On 25th June it will be one month since the new data protection regulation, GDPR, was implemented across Europe.

Many organisations still feel there are gaps they need to address and despite knowing what is required of them legally, they do not understand the next steps to overlay this requirement on to enterprise data.

Our event, GDPR: Compliance and Implementation, one month on, in conjunction with Microsoft UK, will take place at Lloyds Bank’s flagship store in Manchester on 28th June.

Our CEO, Mark Godfrey, will cover what organisations need to do to bridge the gap between the people who understand GDPR, and the people who understand IT:

“This workshop will look at the GDPR opportunity and how you can motivate the business and the leadership.

“To date, many organisations have been thinking about the detail of the regulation, but now we have to think about its interpretation as a customer.

“We’re in era where we now see Data privacy as the next Human Right and not just a regulation.”

GDPR: Compliance and Implementation, one month on will cover key topics such as reputational damage, customer retention, implementing the data requirement, and protecting people as well as data.
