David Canning, Head of Digital Knowledge & Information Management at The Cabinet Office, will be joining us as a speaker at our upcoming Central Government Roundtable.

The virtual event “20 Year Rule: How digital information is changing record transfer” will take place on Tuesday 2 March at 3pm and will cover the challenges around finding, accessing and appraising digital information for The National Archives.

For many Information Managers, this is a new challenge or one they will be facing in the coming years.

David Canning has over 30 years’ experience in Government, including ten years at The Cabinet Office, where he is leading a programme to create a fully digital records and archives function by 2024.

He also leads a team providing critical business support and business performance management across the department.

He joins previously confirmed speaker Aaron Prior from Microsoft and our CEO Simon Cole.

Our roundtable will allow Central Government Information Managers to hear from our esteemed panellists, as wellas having the opportunity to discuss their own digital concerns in this intimate setting.
